Simmba is unstoppable at the box-office

2019 is sure going to be full of entertaining films with Gully Boy, Kalank, Brahmastra and many other films lined up for release. However, we can’t forget how great 2018 was for films at the box-office. The year even ended on a high note with Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan’s Simmba becoming a mega hit. The film has been directed by Rohit Shetty and produced by Karan Johar. This action entertainer has impressed the audience everywhere and we can’t deny the fact that Sara and Ranveer’s fresh pairing is also being appreciated by many.

The film has completed one week at the box-office and the numbers that it has raked it are quite huge. The film had earned Rs 20.72 crore on its opening day, followed by a total of Rs. 54 crores during the first weekend at the box-office. Simmba went on to earn Rs 21.24 crore on Monday, Rs 28.19 crore on Tuesday and Rs 14.49 crore on Wednesday, Rs 11.78 crore on Thursday and finally Rs 9.02 crore on Friday. Now the total collections of the film stand at Rs 159.83 crore. Trade analysts predict that the film will enter the Rs 200 crore club in week 2 and we can’t wait for it. Team Simmba take a bow.
