And the wait is finally over, the much-anticipated trailer of Zoya Akhtar directorial Gully Boy released today. It was soon after the film’s teaser when netizens lost their calm and were eagerly waiting for the trailer. Having hit all over it, Gully Boy's trailer is here to break the internet. Starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the lead, the film is based on the life of rapper Divine and his breakout song – Mere Gully Mein. It also covers the story of his troupe which is famously called, ‘Gully Gang’. The actor is joined by Alia and Kalki Koechlin in the film who play his contrasting love interests.

Gully Boy’s grand trailer launch happened today in Mumbai where makers of the film, Farhan Akhtar, Ritesh Sidhwani and Zoya Akhtar were present along with the lead cast. Interestingly, today is even Farhan Akhtar’s birthday so it called for double celebrations for the team. Reports also inform that Gully Boy will be premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival’s Berlinale Special category, ahead of its release on February 14.
