Last seen together in their debut film Ishaqzaade in 2012, Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra are back on the big screen with their latest release, Namaste England. Being a festival release, it was expected to be Namaste England versus Ayushman Khurrana’s Badhaai Ho at the box-office but seeing the current figures it looks like Arjun’s film has already lost the battle.

With Namaste England running at a slow pace at the cinema halls, the film opened at only Rs 1.90 crore followed by an earning of Rs 2 crore on its second day making its total collection stand at Rs 3.9 crore.

Namaste England

Clearly playing the second fiddle to Badhaai Ho, this Vipul Shah directorial has been quite disappointing. While Arjun-Parineeti’s pairing was loved by the audience in their debut film, this time around their film has mostly been receiving negative reviews. Namaste England is not showing an upward trend today also, so it’s clear the film is a big flop.
