It is the time of content driven cinema in Bollywood. The audience is giving more important to the content of the film rather than who is starring in it. Filmmakers are trying to experiment with different genres and are thinking out of the box for which they are getting due rewards. Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor’s recent release Stree’s box-office numbers is another example which proves that simply having a star in your film is just not enough anymore.

In an interview with a leading daily, Shraddha Kapoor revealed that she wants to be a part of more content driven films in the future. She said, “When Stree happened, I reacted to the narration as an audience. I was laughing, enjoying and I knew I had to be a part of this film. It was as simple as that. Rest nothing is in my hand. I don't know which film of mine will do how much business. It's cool to see a content driven film like Stree do these numbers. I hope I get to be a part of such films. I just hope this means that I'm offered good content films, that will be nice.”

The makers of Stree also revealed that they plan on making a sequel for the film. This news has got the audience excited in particular since the film’s climax ended at a cliffhanger.
