Farah Khan's 'Om Shanti Om' gets Japanese stage version 'Oomu Shanti Oumu'

via bollywood http://ift.tt/2uRYp7i The Japanese stage version of Farah Khan's 2007 Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone-starrer Om Shanti Om opens in Osaka today. The film is titled Oomu Shanti Oomu. The choreographer-filmmaker has flown in for the opening night. Yesterday, Farah posted a snapshot on Twitter, standing outside a theatre in Osaka. She wrote, "Tomorrow nite.. don't miss the Japanese version of Om Shanti Om. So looking forward to this (sic)." Directed by Koyanagi Naoko, it is being staged by the Takarazuka Revue theatre troupe.

Box Office: Mom collects Rs. 9.23 crores in Week 2

via Bollywood Hungama http://ift.tt/2uKsPY9 The Sridevi starrer Mom, a power packed suspense drama that marks the Bollywood debut of director Ravi Udyawar, has entered its second week. The film had opened to rave reviews couple of weeks ago and opened on an average note at the domestic box office.Followed by a positive word of mouth, Mom saw a slight jump in its first week collections which stood at Rs. 23.8 cr. However, the film had to later compete with the Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif starrer Jagga Jasoos in its second week. Although the latter failed to make a mark amongst the audience, Mom continued to see a decline in its collection and ended up collecting Rs. 9.23 cr in its second week. Sabbir Khan and Arbaaz KhanYesterday, Arbaaz Khan took to Twitter to clarify that Sabbir Khan was not directing Dabangg 3. He wrote, "Sabbir Khan was never approached to direct or write Dabangg 3. His statement is untrue and rubbish. Extremely disappointing."Later, Sabbir did a U-turn and tweeted, "Contrary to rumours I haven't been approached for Dabbang 3 as far as I know Prabhu Dheva is directing and my best to Arbaaz Khan." While referring to what he had reportedly said, Sabbir let out that Prabhu Dheva has been roped in for Dabangg 3. Wonder what Arbaaz has to say about this.
